INTERNSHIP WITH AARDMAN ANIMATIONS - November 2018

In November 2018 I was over the moon to accept a 3 week internship with Aardman animations. Two weeks were spent working with the Assistant Animators, learning how the studio works and sculpting replacement mouths for characters in "Shaun the Sheep 2: Farmageddon" (then in production).

This was followed by a week in a test unit with a puppet from "Shaun the Sheep: The Movie", known as A. Trumper.

After each take I received feedback from the head of Animation, each time adding something new, or taking something new into account, to improve the movement of the character.

Hopefully there is a visible progression in the quality of animation here. It was my first time animating a professional-grade puppet and I learned a lot over the course of the week.
