DINO RANCH 'PLAYISODES' - February to May 2022

What fun this was. I had the pleasure of working with Kerrupt Stop-Motion Animation as a freelance animator, creating mini toy-focussed episodes of Boat Rocker's hit series Dino Ranch.

Kerrupt was kind enough to trust me to write and block out the stories. It was great to be involved from scripting all the way through to animation, and to correspond with the clients at Boat Rocker.

Some new techniques I learned included advanced rigging, using a rolling background and animating on 1's.

The episode below is one of my favourites, with a galloping chase scene that was quite a challenge to film, but the result, I hope you'll agree, was very much worth it!

This was my first project as a full-time freelance animator, and I'm extremely grateful to Kerrupt for the opportunity to kickstart this part of my journey.
