After animating a few 'Hey Duggee' shorts for BBC Studios' Social Media team, I received an email from Studio AKA asking if I could animate a short segment for the show itself!

The shot itself was a tribute to the iconic music video for Peter Gabriel's 'Sledgehammer', with a small model train journeying around the singer's (In this case, Enid the Cat's) head. A rig was made to support the train around the large FIMO head, the rails of which were made using an embroidery ring! This was then removed in post to give the appearance that the rails were floating.

It was a delight to work with the team, and the following year I was invited to animate another shot for the show; this time a transition for 'Hey Duggee's Squirrel Club' involving wooden blocks.
